Charles N'Zogbia administered the deathblow with his last gasp heroics in the 94th minute. He scored a brace and Connor Sammon added a debut goal as Wigan came back to sink West Ham after they took a two goal lead through Demba Ba.

Avram Grant gets the axe as expected minutes after the match ended. This time the worst owners in the league were at hand to see their team go down.

Wigan are not out of the woods and vie with Birmingham, Wolves, Blackpool, and Blackburn to remain in the Premiership.
