No Messi, Gerard Pique sent off. No problems for the Barca gravy train. Iniesta, Seydou Keita, and Xavi score for the Liga champions. For Gijon, David Barral pulled one back.

Real Madrid face Barca's fierce crosstown rivals, Espanyol. A win will maintain a 10 point cushion over second placed Barca. Real can take comfort from the fact that Espanyol has never won at the Bernabeu in sixteen years.
