The Czech is in the mail, actually, in the bag. The one with more money. Tomas Rosicky, at 31 years of age signed a new, improved contract that surely sees him spend the last years of his career in an Arsenal jersey. Will he be the first player to do since Dennis Bergkamp?
Rosicky is celebrating the most improved player tag and he’s scoring goals too! In Wengerspeak, he’s actually a new signing. Hopefully this welcome development spurs him onto new heights against the Toons.
Arsenal take on Newcastle today in a very important match – one that will keep the pressure on fourth position and a chance to narrow the gap on Spurs. The need to keep the momentum going cannot be understated. They have to score goals and defend well against an attacking Newcastle side led by Demba Ba, Cheikh Tiote, and Yoann Cabaye.
