Mancini: Mario Balotelli to be sold in the summer

Mario Balotelli not quite taking a good hard look at the mirror

Well, that was quick. Less than an hour after Arsenal buried a stake into City's title hopes, the City manager was on the air talking about Mario Balotelli not playing the rest of the season.

"I am finished. We have six games and he will not play in the next six games."

This point maybe moot because Balotelli already faces a three match ban with the potential for three more to be tacked on if the FA takes a dim view of his studs up tackle on Song which should have resulted in his marching orders in the first place.

More importantly, Mancini indicated Balotelli could be finished at City and sold in the summer. But Mancini himself may not last. This transfer season is going to very, very interesting. City face the real possibility that the Al Nahyan's will reevaluate the poor return of investment in the squad. Spending your way to titles is one thing but if you're just throwing fabulous amounts of money to be a footnote, then the present path is untenable.

I wish he gets sold, he is holding the whole team back. If it was up to me he would have be gone long time ago.
