However Ronaldo picked up an injury and had to be carted off. He wasn’t actually carted off. About 5 minutes into the game – during which he had already scored one of the 5 goals- he asked to be substituted.This was duly done and then he kind of hobbled while walking off. Some kind of muscle injury is feared.
So we may have a pensive looking Ronaldo joining an already pensive looking Messi on the sidelines.
