Crystal Palace rained a bit on Steven Gerrard’s farewell parade by beating Liverpool 3-1 in his final game at Anfield. Rodgers complained bitterly over the visitors’ second and third goals – offside and a penalty for a foul outside the area but Liverpool were beaten anyway.
Fans paid tribute to Gerrard with these mosaics “captain” and “S8G” among many other things..
