Barcelona were beating Roma 1 – 0 and had controlled the game to the extent of having about 75 % ball possession.
Then Alessandro Florenzi scored this magnificient goal…

Some comments afterwards..
“It was difficult, but it was instinct,” Florenzi said. “[It was] craziness and a bit of heart that allowed me to score this beautiful goal. It was practically a last resort because Edin [Džeko] was being marked by two defenders and I said, ‘I’ll try it’ and I managed to get it to land under the bar and score a great goal.”

“We controlled everything, except for one thing which absolutely nobody could do anything about,” said Barcelona coach Luis Enrique. “It was an outstanding goal; a touch of genius.”

The downside: Alessandro will have to do it again a couple of times at least to prove it wasn’t a fluke.But goalies who see him cross the halfline are going to instinctively backpedal to their goal lines.
So it’s not going to be an easy thing to repeat.
But brilliant all the same.
