Chelsea teeter at the brink of relegation

ch
Goals by Jamie Vardy and Riyad Mahrez kept Leicester City at the top of the table.
If that is unthinkable then what’s even more unthinkable is that Chelsea are on one point from relegation.
They lost 2 -1 yesterday.
Highlights

Mourinho makes the point that Chelsea are in the relegation zone but not fighting a relegation battle.
A team that just qualified for the last 16 of the Champion’s League being in the relegation zone of their own league seems to be a paradox or an oxymoron or one of those things.
Poor Jose Mourinho in his post match interview…

  1. I read in 1 paper this week Chelsea are playing like a pub team! I think that’s a bit harsh…… on our pub teams I mean.

Whatever has happened to all those skillful players of last season? Surely they can’t all go off the boil at the same time. Hazard does nothing, he used to run at defences and scare them to death. Oscar, I loved Oscar last season, his skill was outstanding but now he has withdrawn into a shell. Ivanovic was such a force going forward, you could rely on him getting into the box and dangerous crosses came raining in from him but now he seems to be drowning. Ramires bombing forward was a treat to see.

Perhaps the biggest let down has been Fabregas. His wonderful defence splitting balls are now non existent. Costa just wants aggro and lastly Pedro. His first game he was outstanding, how could Real let him go?? Ever since we have the answer!! He is one of the fastest players but won’t run past the defence.

I’m not a Chelsea supporter but as a football supporter they were good to watch last season and I would love to see them back to their entertaining best.

    Come on Chelsea buck up!!!

  2. Mourinho will work it out (or else he’ll be a rich..er man).

When the Winter transfer window arrives, Chelsea will be able to sign new players and turn things around, hopefully.

    Cheers,
