Euro 2016 has been kind of remarkable for the number of games that have been won in the dying minutes of the game by one goal margins – and also for desperate late comebacks by teams to tie their games.
Germany and Belgium finally came up with a change in plan – winning their respective games by scoring goals well before the dying minutes made their gloomy presence felt – and not giving their opponents any chances of comebacks,desperate or otherwise.
Germany changed gears and cruised past Slovakia 3 – 0.

Belgium also,for a change,lived up to their pre tournament billing as favourites and went ahead to demolish Hungary 4 – 0.

All eyes on Iceland now to see if they can achieve another Brexit against England …!!
