Austria v/s Hungary is the oldest national team match outside the British Isles. Austria and Hungary first played each other on October 12, 1902. Austria won 5-0 but trail 66-40 in victories in their 137 meetings. Only Argentina and Uruguay have contested more international derbies.

Hungary,who are making a successful return to the European Championship stage for the first time since 1972 scored a huge upset win over Austria.
That took the new tally to 67-40.
Austria have a lot of catching up to do.
The hungarian goalie Gabor Kiraly created a bit of history on his own.He,at 40 years and 74 days became the oldest player ever in a European Championship to keep a clean sheet.
