Germany take the U 21 Euro Cup

Germany are on a roll.The senior team are in the Confederations Cup finals and the under 21 team have stolen a march on them by winning the U 21 Euro Championship in the meantime.They took on the much fancied Spanish team and beat them 1 – 0.
Germany owes much of its extraordinary success at the international level to the resources they invest into the game at the grassroot level.
Between 2000 and their World Cup win in 2014, 53 centres of footballing excellence were built.These were supplemented by 366 regional coaching bases and training academies like these..
They have an incredibly rigrorous training program for their coaches from which have emerged the likes of Jurgen Klopp, Ralf Rangnick, Thomas Tuchel and Joachim Loew.
They are on the brink of a hat trick of world titles – The World Cup,Confederations Cup and the Euro Under 21 Cup – unless Chile and Sanchez decide that two is enough.
