Good news for Arsenal for a change.Even the most optimistic of Arsenal fans would not have expected very much of their team – who having lost their last away game to Liverpool 4- 0 – were now facing the prospect of losing their first three away matches for the first time since 1954.In fact Arsenal had not won any of their last 13 away games against significant opposition.
It is quite unlikely that Bruce Willis is an Arsenal fan.But if he were,even he,the most diehard of never give up types,wouldn’t have had much hope for his team in an away game against an in- form Chelsea.
The Wenger Out brigade will now have to pause and ponder this.Wenger seems to have got it right all of a sudden.
Arsenal actually took the game to Chelsea and were unlucky to come away without a win.
