The 5 game ban in the La Liga does not apply to the Champion’s League fixtures so Ronaldo was back in action against APOEL Nicosia.
Real Madrid ran out easy winners against them – beating them 3 – 0 ,Ronaldo scoring two out of the three goals.
He’s on 109 Champion’s League goals now which is a pretty incredible record.
As far as the La Liga is concerned he still has one more match to sit out for his five game ban to run out.
