When Man City were two goals up it seemed liked a foregone conclusion that Bristol City were going to exit the proceedings without being able to do very much about anything.However they decided that they were not going to go quietly into the night.By time the clock was ticking out the stoppage time time – they had fought back to make the score 2 -2.
It required a herioc effort from Kevin de Bruyne ( 96th minute goal – scored after running the length of the pitch) to ensure that City won the game.
