Kevin de Bruyne scored the first goal off a free kick.The Cardiff City wall got taken by surprise.They all jumped and he breached the wall from below – scoring from under the wall rather than over it.
The second goal,scored by Bernardo Silva,was disallowed by the ref even though it was perfectly legit.The ref should have used the VAR – but didnt- causing much perplexity.
However Raheem Sterling scored another goal a little later on and the rest of the game was played out till it came to a foregone conclusion.
