And then to make matters totally worse for Pep,Wigan knocked Manchester City out of the FA cup when Will Grigg scored a 79th minute winner.
That made it the third time in 6 years that Wigan has managed to inflict the ignominy on City – of dumping them out of the FA cup inspite of being nowhere near them at any level.At the end of the game there were unseemly brawls and fisticuffs between rival fans – Aguero being involved in one of the incidents.
Guardiola’s hopes of a quadruple are shattered.A triple is the best he can hope for now.And he faces Arsenal in the Carabao Cup next.Arsenal will be charged up for that one.It’s one title that Wenger has never won.And City will be shaken by this unexpected upset.
