Wait there is dirt in your eye!

The FA has charged both Chelsea and Tottenham with three breaches of conduct for failure to control their players and officials during and after their match which ended in an ill tempered draw and sealed Leicester City’s coronation as league champions. Of interest, is the FA’s statement regarding Mousa Dembele caught on camera trying to gouge Diego Costa’s eye following a fracas between Willian and Danny Rose.

“Further, it is alleged the player’s behaviour constituted violent conduct in circumstances where the standard punishment of three matches that would otherwise apply is clearly insufficient.”

Dembele’s ban would extend to the next season. Maybe he can compare notes with Jose Mourinho, eh?
