Lionel Messi became the second player in history to reach 900 top-level career goals when he scored in Inter Miami’s match against Nashville SC on Wednesday.The first to get there is Cristiano Ronaldo who got there in September 2024 and has since taken his tally to an eye watering 960 goals.
Pele in comparison only got to 778 officially accepted goals.
