Italy has won the FIFA World Cup four times (1934, 1938, 1982, 2006) and have now missed three consecutive instalments of the competition, after they also failed to reach Russia in 2018 and Qatar in 2022.
The world is an emptier place today.There are exits, and then there are heartbreaks. Italy after failing to qualify for their 3rd World cup in succession are draining the dregs of gloom,misery,melancholy,despair,
dejection,anguish,wretchedness..my thesauras app has run out of words to describe this. Hard to understand why a country that won four World Cups now can’t manage to qualify for one.
