Barcelona began their 2026–27 La Liga campaign by beating Eiche 5-0. Eiche are newly promoted to the La Liga and the gulf in resources and quality between the two clubs was always going to make Barcelona strong favourites. So it was a good opportunity for the new man Karim Adeyemi to show his stuff.
He did.
His pace, movement and willingness to press gave Barcelona another dimension on the left. So Barelona possibly now have a new trident – Yamal on the right,Raphina in the centre and Karim on the left.
