Jose bans the jokes

jm
Chelsea have made their worst start to a season since 1986.Four points from five matches is no laughing matter for Jose Mourinho.
The Daily Telegraph has reported that the club’s Cobham training facility, under the orders of Mourinho has been declared a banter-free zone till things get better.
That’s right- no more idle chit chat.Just serious practice.Period.
All work and no play is going to make Chelsea dull boys.
Unlike this kid here- who is playing a saxophone while practicing his footie skills. The other day he was solving the Rubiks cube while doing keepy uppies.
Amazing

Mourinho needs to lighten up a bit.Play the saxophone and solve the Rubik’s cube while he’s coaching.
He’s banned the medical staff and banned the jokes as his team go into their Champions League opener against Maccabi Tel Aviv later tonight.Let’s see if all the banning produces a good result for Chelsea.

  1. I should imagine his players don’t know any jokes anyway, so he’s safe there! Must admit seeing him on sky news last night I haven’t seen him looking so happy and less haggard for weeks. He was smiling and yes, joking with the press, so his ban doesn’t include himself then!!

  2. This is being taken out of context.
Jose works with the players every day and like in a lot of jobs, there has to be certain standards.
Dressing room dynamics can change with personnel coming and going.
If the man thinks there is too much hilarity and certain individuals are not applying themselves he is absolutely doing the right thing on cracking down.
There is a time and place for banter and the training ground is not the arena for that especially when results are bad.
Between the physio episode and now this I get the feeling there are one or two at the club trying Joses patience. Not something that will be tolerated.
I wish him well in his efforts to get back to winning ways

  3. Chelsea must be feeling a lot happier now having won their CL match against Maccabi. And now they’ve Arsenal over the weekend. The Gunners usually put the smiles back on the opposition’s face when they’re favoured to win.
