Ecuador 1 Poland 0 at halftime [Update: Ecuador wins, 2-0]

Poland’s defence looks pretty ragged, giving the Ecuadorian attack many looks. And the Edwin Tenorio and Augustin Delgado duo are proving to be a menace. On the other hand the Ecuadorian defence has kept the Ebi Smolarek and Jacek Krycnowek tandem on a leash.
Great goal in the 24th minute from a Tenorio header after Tin Delgado’s flick with his head of a Ulises De La Cruz throw in.
The Polish teams is not clicking at both ends of the field. Pawel Janas has quite a bit of thinking to do at halftime.
Update: Augustin Delgado put it away in the 81st minute for a 2-0 win over Poland. The Poles had their chances with two shots hitting the posts and should consider themselves unlucky. But the Ecuadorians played magnificently. Pawel Janas was endlessly questioned on his decision to drop Jerzy Dudek. And now he will have a tough time defending his decision, although in all fairness even Dudek could not have kept the ball away from the goal. The Polish team just played bad soccer.
