I must say that we Brasilians have lost patience with Ronaldo.
If he could not get in shape for the Copa, then maybe he should be sitting on the bench where he belongs. His replacement Robinho will move a lot faster and be more effective.
In Ronaldo’s defense, I could argue that Adriano did not do anything much either. But what distubed me the most was the lack of movement.
It’s the sad truth. Pele was right. Ronaldo is too fat.
Or maybe it was this mysterious fever. I don’t know about you, but I remember whenever Ronaldo has a mystery illness, we lose.

I echo your sentiments about Croatia being unlucky to not beat Brazil. Brazil really only challenged the Croatian keeper twice: the goal from Kaka and the header from Ronaldinho. Croatia, on the other hand, challenged Dida quite a few times, although they always seem to strike the ball directly at him.
As much as I’m pulling for Australia in this group, they’re going to have a difficult time against the Croatians.
Did you see where Brazil’s coach has already stated Ronaldo will start the next game?? Talk about blind faith. Robinho needs to be given a full 90 minutes to showcase his energy and flar e.
