I don’t know why they keep writing articles like that nj.com one. It’s the same thing we all know and have heard over and over. I’m surprised #5 wasn’t “score more than Italy.” The question is no longer what they need to do, it’s if they’ll do it.
I’m with Dave, in that I don’t know how to respond to the NJ article. While its basically correct, it is also obviously written for the sunday soccer fan who needs something to be able to say at the local bar when its time to watch the game to make it sound like he may know whats going on.
I also love Arena’s diplomacy in that quote. Obviously Italy has a weakness and he’s going to do everything to exploit it while catering to the strengths of our players. Well, thats what he’s going to try and do, and what we hope will happen.
