It may just have been a yellow with that stamp on the testicles…
But with Rooney rather foolishly mouthing off constantly and then pushing Ronaldo around even though Gerrard and Ferdinand were trying to get him to calm down…
That’s when referee decided he had had enough; a proper red card…
