No one has said anything about Blatter for awhile on this blog so here he is again – irritiating the hell out of at least 3 sets of people .Lens president, Gervais Martel was deeply angered by what Blatter said without blatting an eyelid – namely that the Stade Felix Bollaert in Lens, where United fans were pushed against metal fences last week, should not have been used for a Champions League game.
Then we have the Colombian President Alvaro Uribe who wasn’t too pleased about Blatter’s less than flattering comments about Colombia’s chances of hosting the 2014 World Cup.
And finally there are a whole bunch of disappointed people here who may have had hopes that the 2018 World Cup would be held in England.
