It is almost a done deal. Felipe Melo will move to Juve as the Violas agree to a Marchionni exchange and 20 milion euros in cash. Marchionni signed a three year contract and will receive 1.3 million euros in incentives.
Arsenal missed out on a big signing. A quality holding midfielder was one of the club’s priorities and Melo is undoubtedly one. They are also rare. This is a disappointing development.
