Extreme sporting behaviour in League One

dg
The opening game of the League One season between Doncaster and Bury went through to extra time with nothing very spectacular happening. Then a Bury player fell to the ground injured and Harry Forrester of Doncaster very sportingly passed the ball to the Bury goalkeeper to restart the game.
However his pass went clean over the goalie’s head and into the goal -giving his side a surprise one nil lead.

After some negotiation Doncaster then allowed Bury striker Leon Clarke to walk the ball into their own goal.

High quality sportsmanship
It’s a game after all.
