Liverpool put their unexpected beating by Burnley behind them and beat Burton 5 – 0 in the EFL cup to kind of make up for that loss.
Burton were outclassed.Divock Origi scored in the 15th minute and Roberto Firmino made it 2-0 a little later.
Tom Naylor inadvertently put the ball in his own net after the break and then Daniel Sturridge went on to score two more.
