The world has not had enough of Donald Trump. We have to have Hope Solo in an epic meltdown after the USA lost to Sweden on penalties in the Rio Olympics lashing out at those “bunch of cowards” – after she made Lisa Dahlkvist wait for two long minutes with her pretense of changing gloves. The Swede did not lose her composure, confidence, and yes, her courage, to put that penalty across Solo.

Which really should provide all the context you need. The World Cup winners had 90 minutes to assert their supremacy as goal scoring machines but they did not. Then they had 30 more minutes. They did not. They had the penalty shoot out. The USA and Hope Solo choked. It’s as simple as that. Don’t blame the Swedes.
