The soap opera episode involving Dimitri Seluk-Yaya Toure’s agent,Toure and Guardiola had a very happy ending for City yesterday.In September Guardiola had told Seluk to say sorry for various nasty things that Seluk had said about him if he wanted Toure to play for City again.After various twists and turns in the plot,Toure finally said sorry but Seluk didn’t.
However all that unpleasantness is now a distant memory as Toure scored a brilliant brace in his comeback game to help City see off a gritty Palace side 2- 1 .
Thanks to Toure’s two goals – they get to stay on top of the table along with Liverpool.
