Gabriel scored his first goal in the 11th minute and inspite of a dazzling display of attacking football from Manchester City – no further goal was scored till the 81st minute.
And that goal,to Guardiola’s dismay,was scored at the wrong end of the field,by the wrong team.
It looked like the game against Swansea was going to be yet another one of those in which City did everything right except manage to win.
However late into injury time came the saving grace.
City are still in the race,in third place,with Chelsea a dot on the horizon 10 points ahead.
