United lost a chance to move to 4th position when they were held to a 1-1 draw by Bournemouth.The match was marked by some pretty abysmal refereeing by Kevin Friend.He had a really bad day on the job – like missing crucial fouls like the Tyrone Mings stamp on Zlatan’s head followed by the Zlatan elbow in Tyrone’s face,like having to be reminded by Rooney that Andrew Surman was to be given a red card because he had been booked twice in the game,etc.

Both players are claiming innocence,Mings saying he was trying to jump over Zlatan and Zlatan saying that Tyrone hit his elbow with his head.He also missed a penalty ( Zlatan ) – so it wasn’t such a great game for him and he might end up getting a retrospective ban for his foul.Mourinho,always the contrary decided this time not to blame the ref.
