Mourinho is no longer miffed.Conte’s Chelsea came to Old Trafford and found themselves up against a Manchester United team that did not play the way that they expected to play.
They would have expected a parked bus and team that would be defensively obdurate – because that has been Mourihno’s usual approach to big games.What they got was a team with two up in front and wing backs who played hign.United went into the attack,were one goal up within the first 15 minutes or so and did not give Chelsea any room to manoeuvre for the rest of the game.
This round goes to Mourinho and the Title race is as a result – wide open. Chelsea’s lead over Spurs has shrunk to a measly four points and there are miles yet to go before they can sleep.
