The ides of March are upon us and Mourinho is surely in danger of getting bumped off by the Manchester United faithful.Its bad enough that Sevilla dumped them out of the Champion’s League by beating them 2 -1 at Old Trafford.
Where it gets really wierd is when Mourinho in the after game press conference said …
“I sit in this chair twice in the Champions League and knocked United out of the Champions League, with Real or Porto, so I don’t think it is something new for the club. I don’t have regrets, I did my best, the players tried their best. We lost, that’s football.”
What kind of a justification is that ?
For a man who is so good at the parked bus strategy its a shame because now he has gone and missed the bus entirely.
To lose to Sevilla at home because of ultra defensive play and then try to justify it with words like that are not likely to be easily forgiven.
