He headed in the only goal of the game against Morocco to take his tally to 85 and become the highest European international goal scorer in the history of the sport.
Incidentally Puskas scored 84 goals in 89 games – Ronaldo scored his 85 goals in 152 games .So there’s that bit of a difference between the two players.
Morocco were hugely unlucky to lose the game .They played better but simply could not score.
