Isco had made the headlines a week ago for getting dropped from the team by coach Santiago Solari for the CL game against Roma.
Solari hasn’t started with Isco in the last seven games leading to grim rumours that he might be heading out of Real Madrid and into the English Premier League.
Isco took to Instagram to try and figure out why he had fallen from grace.He posted a photograph of himself with the question “Am I fat?”This was also in response to one of his followers posting a comment on his “Hero Sports Cologne” ad page stating “Forget about fragrances and get back in shape.”
The poll answering his am I fat question saw the “No” winning by a narrow 55% margin.
Not exactly a vote of confidence in his thin-ness.
So the two goals he scored against Melilla in the Copa del Rey will have done a world of good for his confidence.That and the fact that Solari,offering the olive branch no doubt,made him captain of the team for the game.
