Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been named caretaker manage to hold the fort till the end of the season.
The Norwegian club Molde had only recently signed a contract with Solskjaer to be their manager till 2021.They will have to manage without him because Manchester United have “borrowed’ him.
Molde chief executive officer Oystein Neerland says the club are “happy” to lend Ole Gunner Solskjaer to Manchester United on a temporary basis, saying that the decision is a “statement of trust”.
Solskjaer takes charge of United for their game against Cardiff this weekend and lets see if he is able to put some spark back into the team.He hasn’t had much success as manager – having a pretty disastrous tenure as manager of the very same Cardiff coincidentally- not so long ago.
However being a club legend and being rememebered for legendary feats like famously scoring the winning goal in the 1999 Champions League final against Bayern Munich will surely help to give the United squad some much needed inspiration.
This is going to get interesting .
