De Gea completes a hat trick of howlers

David de Gea,winner of four Sir Matt Busby Player of the Year awards in the past five years and normally one of the best goalkeepers in the world is having an absolutely wretched time over the last 10 days or so.
And the slump in form could not have come at a worse time with United struggling to disprove Mourinho’s prophecy of not being able to reach the last four this season.
When they are so close to getting there David de Gea’s safe hands have gone missing.
He made a hash of saving Leroy Sane’s shot that gave Manchester City’s their second goal in the derby.
Messi’s second goal against United in the Champion’s League was because de Gea just let the ball in through his fingers.
And the hat trick of errors came yesterday, when he failed to hold on to a hopeful long shot by Antonio Rudiger, allowing Alonso to equalise for Chelsea off the rebound.
That let two hard earned points slip from United’s fingers and they are now in 6th place – staring at the long haul of the Europa League next season.
Highlights.De Gea’s howler is about 4 minutes into the video.
