Salah tore way from the pack,and ran all the way from his own half to score against Southampton.It was,finally,a reminder of the brilliance that he is capable of – that had gone missing for a while.
Liverpool came from behind to win 3-1 at Southampton taking them ahead of Man City again.
It was also Salah’s 50th strike for Liverpool in the Premier League and he is now the quickest Anfield player to reach that landmark,a record previously held by Fernando Torres.

Salah’s return to form is a good omen for Liverpool and the title race is poised to go down to the wire.
