For the first time in 10 years or so both the Spanish stalwarts -Real Madrid and Barcelona – are not going to be in the Copa del Rey finals.
In fact it turns out that a similar occurence of events has not happened before for the last 65 years.
Barcelona,who are already in crisis,have compounded it by losing a game that they could have won.

And Real Madrid,who after having been in a crisis for most of this season and looking as if they had turned the corner of late,have put the clock back a bit by losing to Real Sociedad.After 21 games unbeaten,they got beaten in a semifinal.
