The La Liga has been locked down since March 10. It might start in June???
The health minister, Salvador Illa, said elite sports are unlikely to return until the summer. The league has also advised clubs that player testing has been put on hold because “the resumption of training sessions is going to be delayed”.
The La Liga president, Javier Tebas, anxious to avoid significant financial losses has proposed a strict four-phase protocol to resume training, with Tebas putting forward three potential restart dates: 29 May, 7 June and 28 June.

The Bundesliga is also under huge financial pressure to start by May 9th but the docs are saying that it’s seriously not a good idea.
“You can only detect an infection after 48 hours … From my point of view, all people in contact with a soccer player are first-degree contacts,” he said, referring to the disease control center Robert Koch Institute’s label for people in close contact for more than 15 minutes. “So everyone would have to go in quarantine, possibly also the opposing team.”(Leipzig-based Professor Uwe G. It is proposed that two cup finals be used to get the ball rolling again (a seriously ironic metaphor to use)- the French Cup final between Paris Saint-Germain and St Etienne and the League Cup final between PSG and Lyon.
