Liverpool went back into action after a mind numbing 103 day break – knowing a victory would allow them to secure their first league title in 30 years on Wednesday with a win at home to Crystal Palace.
But alas,it was not to be.
The first merseyside derby ever to be played in the claustrophobic confines of a sealed,fanless stadium ended in a goalless draw.
