Pele sent him this very neat congratulatory message

The goal in question was an an unusual one because Messi scored the goal with his head (which does not happen very often),immediately after he had missed a penalty.

Having said that – Barcelona are not doing that great as a team at the moment.Valencia held them to a 2-2 draw and they are languishing at 5th place in the table ..
