Argentina,like Brazil,have not lost a single game of their World Cup 2022 qualifiers so far.However they have not won all of them either.
They beat Ecuador,Bolivia and Peru but drew their games against Paraguay,Chile and Colombia.
The game against Colombia they lost in the dying moments of the game – conceding an equaliser in the 94th minute.
So it looks like Messi,who has somehow never managed to rise to great heights when he plays for his country,has another uphill struggle ahead of him.
Lets hope history does not rewrite itself again for him.
In the meantime there’s high drama connected to the Copa America that is overshadowing all these world cup qualifiers.
