Real Madrid and Barcelona legends took to the field again in a game titled the El Clásico of Peace.
The ravages of time were evident – but they served up a fine game of football nevertheless.
Real Madrid won 3-2.
It was great to see Ronaldinho in action again.

Barça Legends: Angoy, Juan Carlos, Dehu, Tortolero, Goikoetxea, Deco, Mendieta, Arpón, Rivaldo, Saviola, Ronaldinho. Guzmán, Amor, Ronald de Boer, Coco, Jofre Mateu and Okunowo also featured.
Real Madrid Legends: Codina, Núñez, Iván Campo, Fernando Sanz, Roberto Carlos, Milla, Rivera, Figo, Amavisca, De la Red y Alfonso. Velasco, Víctor, Álex and Munitis also featured.

“The Barca Legends are the result of an FC Barcelona programme to showcase the great players that have worn its famous colours over the years.It is designed to help promote the Barca name and values around the world through its former players, and to enable them to continue playing for the team even after retiring as professionals.The aim is to play games and run parallel events in different places around the world.”
