US born Zaki Anwari,19,was a member of the Afghan national youth team.He is one of those who died in a desperate attempt to try and escape from Afghanistan.

Mr Anwari attended the Esteqlal High School, in Kabul, one of the oldest and most prestigious in the country
The beloved teen’s ‘unspeakable loss’ was mourned by his peers and coaches on social media today .
And the captain of the Afghan women’s team has urged her teammates to destroy all evidence of their ever having been part of the football team.
This is a nightmare from which we are not going to wake up anytime soon.
