Egypt beat Morroco in an Afcon quarter final thanks to an equaliser from Salah and also thanks to an extra time winner for Egypt that he orchestrated.
They will now play Cameroon (who beat them in the 2017 final) in the semi final.
Egypt and Cameroon have 12 Afcon titles a piece but Salah has none.
Like Messi,he’s been great for his club but not that great for his country – Egypt have not won the AFCON since he joined the national team.
