Manchester City went 12 points clear of 2nd placed Liverpool after beating Brentford 2-0.Liverpool do have two games in hand though so they can still narrow that gap to 6 if all goes according to Klopp’s plan. However its still looking like a one horse race unless Man City stumble.

Elsewhere 4th place hopefuls Spurs came undone in the 80th minute of the game against Southampton – conceding two goals and going on and losing a game they had been winning till then.
