After hitting the dazzling heights with that hat trick against Spurs the other day Ronaldo hit the lows against old foe Atletico Madrid in the Champion’s League.
He did not manage a single decent goal bound shot in the entire game.For the first time in 3969 days (yep someone counted) Ronaldo failed to even attempt a goal for his club.He also wasn’t able to touch the ball inside Atletico’s penalty box for the entire 90 minutes.
So that’s as low as he could go.
Since leaving Real Madrid in 2018, Ronaldo hasn’t ever been able to go beyond the quarter-final stage in the Champion’s League.
Man Utd bowed out tamely.
